Cooking on Tisha B'Av after midday

Question

Is it permissible to cook on Tisha B'Av after midday?

Answer

It is permitted to cook so as to have food to eat after the fast.
Also, as preparation for Shabbat, this year when Tisha B'Av falls on a Thursday, it is permitted to cook for Shabbat from midday. But if there isn’t enough time, one is allowed to start cooking even in the evening.
