Feeding a Child in the Bathtub

Question

Is it permitted to feed a young child in the bathtub?

Answer

Dear …!
There is no prohibition against eating in the bathtub. However, this is the custom (not to eat), probably for reasons of cleanliness.
If there is a reason to feed specifically there, such as nursing a child, when the mother needs a place where she’ll be secluded, and the like, there is no problem with it.
