Error in Writing a Scroll - Uncorrected Book

Question

I have a Megillas Esther that I bought from a beginner scribe who did not know about the large and small letters in the Megillah. Do I need to send it for correction right away, because of the rule that a scroll must not remain uncorrected?

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

It is forbidden to leave it in this state, and it must be corrected immediately.
