Wording Question
Question
Why do we say l'imos HaMoshiach A nd not y'amim HaMoshiach?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
The reason for this is because this is the way rabbinic Hebrew is written. In modern Hebrew "yemei" would be used. There is no grammar code that would allow for "l'yamim".
Once again, it is simply a language issue and nothing deeper than that.
