The Law of Return
Question
Why do I have a right to Israel if I convert to Judaism?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
You must be referring to the “Law of Return” of the State of Israel.
According to this law, any Jew, whether born Jewish or converted, is entitled to move to Israel and become a citizen.
This has nothing to do with Jewish law. It is a secular law.
