Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question!

I am sorry to read of some of the hardships that you have faced.

First of all, you can be sure that being born on Tisha B’av has nothing to do with anything bad. In fact, being born on Tisha B’av can even be seen as a sign of blessing. This is because our sage teach us that the Jewish Messiah will be born on Tisha B’av!

You write that you are married and that you have two daughters who are very religious. Right there is something to be thankful for! You also write that you are shomer Shabbos. Keeping Shabbos is said to bring blessing into your home.

Make sure to put on kosher tefillin and pray regularly every day. Say Tehillim, Psalms, in the merit that Hashem bring even more blessing to your life. Checking your mezuzot is also said to be a “segula” to help bring blessing into a home. Indeed, we are soon in the month of Elul when checking mezuzot is considered to be especially auspicious. The mitzva of mezuza is also in this week’s Torah portion, and perhaps you might want to even check them this week to connect the weekly Torah portion to your life in a very practical way!

It appears form your question that a lot of the bad is in the past. Hopefully these days, going forward, things are looking better and brighter. Our rabbi bless you that you should see happiness in your life and continue to get much pleasure watching your children go in the ways of Hashem.
