Meaning of Psalms 68:19
Question
I'm trying to figure out Psalms 68:19. "You ascended on high, you took captives; you took gifts to be among men, and also rebellious ones for Yah God to dwell." Who does "You refer to? It must be a man because it's lowercase, correct? What is the meaning of this verse?
Answer
I have seen two interpretations for this verse, namely that "You" refers to:
1. God
2. Mt. Sinai
It is a very poetic verse and can be understood in different ways.
