What happened during the creation of light
Question
Bereshit tells us that God says “Let there be light (owr) and light was. Did Hashem create light on the first day or rather did He expose the unformed world to it
Answer
Light was created on the first day, it did not exist before.
It is written in Bereshit 1:3: 'The Lord said: Let there be light. And there was light'.
