Talking in Shul
Question
Are you allowed to chat in shul outside of prayer time or during prayer time in the cloakroom?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
It is permitted to chat outside the synagogue sanctuary. However, if one is in the middle of prayer, one should wait until finishing before engaging in conversation.
