A Goy Keeping Shabbos
Question
Can a goy keep shobbos ? Where is the source please
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
The mitzvot of the Torah were given to the Jewish people to observe, and to no one else. As such, Non Jews need to keep the “Seven Noahide Laws.”
It is indeed, even prohibited for a non Jew to observe Shabbat. See Sanhedrin 58-59 for more on this.
