Swimming Pool and Sunbathing on Shabbat

Question

Is there a prohibition against entering a private pool where there is no concern of squeezing, and is there a prohibition against sunbathing, of course without applying creams?

Answer

Shalom and blessings

According to the Sephardic custom, there is no problem bathing in cold water on Shabbat, but one must be careful of squeezing and moving water in a public domain.

According to the Ashkenazi custom, one should not bathe even in cold water unless for medical necessity or similar reasons.

It is permitted to sunbathe on Shabbat.
