Wiping a Spill with a Rag on Shabbos

Shalom Rabbi,If water spills on the floor on Shabbos, is it permitted to dry it with a rag?Thank you very much.

Shalom uVracha,
You may use a rag to soak up the water, but be careful not to do it in a way that would involve the issur of sechitah, such as pressing down on the rag or wringing it out.
