Moving a Reading Lamp on Shabbos
Question
A reading lamp; if I make a condition before Shabbos that it should not be muktzeh for me and that I’ll be able to move it on Shabbos, is that Ok?

Since the prohibition is due to moving the bulb, which is considered like a “flame,” designating it before Shabbos does not help to permit moving it.
