Saying “Retzey” on Motza’ei Shabbos

Question

Shalom,

On Motza’ei Shabbos, after seudah shlishit, if Shabbos has already ended, does one still say “Retzey ve’hachalitzenu”?

And if he needed to do something weekday-related before Birkat HaMazon and therefore said “Baruch haMavdil bein kodesh lechol”, does he still say Retzey afterwards?

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

If one already said “Baruch haMavdil” and thereby ended Shabbos, he no longer says “Retzeh ve’hachalitzenu”, since he is no longer “Beyom Hashabbos Hazeh".
