May One Use Extra Hot Water a non Jewish Aide Boiled on Shabbat?

Question

Hi my freinds mother in law with late stage parkinsons has an an aid who bold up hot water on shabbos for the lady for a tea is my freind able to use the extra water?

Answer

Thank you for your question.

Since it was boiled in a permissible way (as his mother-in-law is considered a choleh sheyesh bo sakana), he may therefore use the leftover water, that the non-Jewish aid boiled.

Wishing her a refuah sheleimah.
