Shnayim Mikra ve’Echad Targum at Night

Question

Is it permissible to read Shnayim Mikra ve’Echad Targum every night, instead of during the day?
I work and don’t have time during the day, and it’s also hard for me to do it on Shabbos.

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

The Targum may be recited at night.

The Mikra (the verses themselves) may only be recited after chatzot halayla (halachic midnight).

However, on Thursday night or Friday night, it is permitted to do Shnayim Mikra ve’Echad Targum as normal.
