What is appropriate to broadcast on a news hotline?

Hello, I run a news hotline with several thousand listeners. At this point, I want to do everything I can to ensure that it doesn’t cause harm to anyone. I would appreciate guidance on what my responsibilities are in order to achieve that.

Whatever you post on the hotline, imagine it is being said about you. That will help you know what is appropriate to share.
