Food under the bed

Question

If food was kept under a bed while someone was sleeping in it, did the food become forbidden? Is one allowed to put foods and beverages in the basket that’s in the lower part of a baby carriage when the baby is sleeping in the carriage?

Answer

One is not allowed to keep food under a bed. However, if one did leave food under a bed, such food does not become forbidden. As for baby carriages, one is allowed to put food in a baby carriage, since a baby carriage is not considered a bed.
