Bringing a Deceased to a Jewish Cemetery in a Dangerous Situation
Question
Is a person obligated to put himself in possible danger in order to bring a deceased Jew to burial in a Jewish cemetery? And what is the halacha if the danger is only remote and uncertain?
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
One should not put himself in possible danger in order to bring a deceased Jew to a Jewish burial.
However, if the danger is only remote and minimal, one should make the effort to ensure the person is brought to a proper Jewish burial.
