Purchasing Gemara Software with Ma'aser Money

May I use ma’aser money to buy a Gemara software program for myself, since it will help me learn at times when I otherwise wouldn’t be able to?

It is not permitted to purchase items for yourself using maaser funds. This includes sefarim and other mitzvah items such as an esrog, tallis, etc.
