Ma'aser Money for Purchasing an Aliyah

Shalom uVracha,I bought Chasan Ma’onah (the Aliyah of Shishi on Simchas Torah). My intention was to support the Shul. May I donate the money using ma’aser money?

If that was your intention when you bought it, to pay for it with ma’aser money, then it would be permitted to do so.
