Additional Use of a Purchased Song

Question

Hello, I’m a kindergarten teacher. As we prepare for the end-of-year party, I’d like to use a song I received from a rhythmics instructor I worked with at my previous job.She had purchased the song through a professional rhythmics training course. (At the time, the teachers would pay an additional fee for the party program, to help cover their training costs, and in return, the instructors would leave the songs with the kindergarten teachers to use in their classes.)Now, the new rhythmics teacher I currently work with does not have that particular song.My question is, am I allowed to use that song in my new kindergarten?

Answer

Shalom,

You may use it.
