Purchase with the intention to return and buy again with a discount
Question
A clothing store offers a birthday discount. Shortly before my birthday, I went to the store and saw that there were only a few items left in each size, so likely nothing will be left by my birthday.1. Is it permissible to buy the clothing and then, on my birthday, return it and buy it again with the discount?2. Does the ruling change if I would have bought it at the full price anyway versus if I wouldn't buy it without the discount?3. Does the ruling change if I already bought the item without the intention to return and repurchase versus if that was my initial intention?
Answer
Hello,
There is no binding rule on this.
You should ask the store employees.
