My son by accident took the hatbox of the taxi driver who drove him to yeshivah from the trunk if the car. He thought it was his hatbox. He called the driver 5 minutes later when he realized what happened. The driver wanted to charge him 30 shekel to come back to get the hatbox. Does he have to pay him? If yes how much

Since it was a mistake, you do not need to pay if the driver wants it, he should come at get it at his own expense.
