A Philanthropist's Dilemma
Question
My friend is a Jewish philanthropist in Israel. He has his own charitable foundation where he gets requests for charity help from poor individuals in Israel. Sometimes people that not Jewish by Halacha (Olim Chadashim from FSU) with very difficult financial situations requesting help from him. He wants to know if he can use maaser money to support them. Thank you
