Contraceptives – Any Difference?

Shalom uVracha, I wanted to ask if there is any halachic difference between using an IUD and taking birth control pills (after asking a Rav about using contraception in general)? Thank you very much.

There is no halachic difference between them.
In a case where it is permitted, you may choose whichever you prefer.
