Chatzitzah – an uncut fingernail.
Question
A woman immersed in the mikveh and afterward discovered that she had forgotten to cut one fingernail. Should she immerse again? It should be noted that she had cut her nails, unrelated to this, three days earlier, so it was a very small nail, which usually is not trimmed at that size.
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
It is not considered a chatzitzah.
If the nail is small, it is regarded as though it has already been cut.
