Gel Nail Polish - How Many Days Before Immersion

A woman who needs to immerse in the mikvah next Monday, can she apply gel nail polish on Thursday?

Immersion in the mikvah with gel nail polish is not ideal (not lechatchila).
However, if one already has gel polish on, she must ensure that it is intact and not chipped.
It is reasonable to assume that gel polish applied on Thursday will remain intact until Monday.
