Artificial insemination

Question

Shalom. What does Orthodox Judaism say about artificial insemination? I googled it and then it says that it's permitted, but I am still suspicious of it. According to what I read, if through artificial insemination the child would not be seen as a descendant of Adam. I recall a story of Jewish sources, it was saying that a woman taken a bath and then where leftover sperm was waisted in, therewith penetrating into her and she got pregnant. What then if the result is not seen as a descendant of Adam, would his/her descendants be seen as offsprings of Adam veChava? You may want to pray for me and my wife Grace Yaa Hadassah Jeshurun whose nickname in Ghana is pronounced like Maamiiyaa with date of birth June 11:th 1994, bat Hannah, to get offsprings naturally from our martial relations. Thanks. Kol tov Chaim Sean Jeshurun commonly known as Chaim Jeshurun with date of birth September 15:th 1978, ben Sarah. Sorry, for not donating this time.
