How is that considered parve?
Question
Why can things be considered parve even when they contain animal glycerine or mono or diglycerides?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
Glycerine, and the like, do indeed come in pareve varieties as they are often chemical (artificial) or plant based.
Furthermore, even ingredients which were originally meat may be deemed pareve if they have been totally transformed, pulverized, and otherwise unrecognizable from their original form.
Finally, minute amounts of food/ingredients is often ignored.
So, not to worry. If the product is marked pareve it most certainly is.
