Fish- smoked but not with hechsher
Question
I am on holiday with no kosher around and decided to buy fish for supper. I found salmon fish with skin on showing the scales. However when I opened it, I noticed it says lightly smoked. I checked the ingredients, it only contains salt and hasn’t been smoked with any other ingredients. Is it kosher to eat?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
One should not eat the fish since it is considered as non-Kosher.
