Issue with Blood in Kugel Mixture?
Question
Hi I was mixing a kugel batter with my hands and I have cut on my hand which probably had dry blood on it and the mixture is very liquidy is that a problem?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
There are a number of reasons why there is nothing to worry about.
The primary reasons are that any blood that might have come out is nullified in the much larger quantity of kugel batter. So too, even if the blood was not nullified (which is 60x kosher against the non-kosher), human blood is permitted to be consumed when it is not noticeable that one is doing so.
