Glass Stove Top

Question

Hi, I have a glass electric stove top I have used it for meat and milk. I am finding out now it’s a problem and should only be used for one of them. What should I do now with my pots and pans? And then again also my plates and utensils? Can I get away with out kashering my plates (they can’t be kashered because china) my pans can be kashered, stainless steel. Please advise!

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

If it was clean (and we can assume it was unless you know otherwise), everything is fine and permitted. As long as the surfaces are kept clean there is no problem to use them for both milk or meat.
