A dairy onion in a blender

I cut an onion with a dairy knife, and then ground it in a parve (neutral) blender. Did the status of this blender change as a result of this, or did it remain parve?

If the knife was indeed dairy, then it made the blender dairy as well.

(Very often a knife that is used for dairy products doesn’t actually become dairy itself.
