Selling a Microwave That Became Non-Kosher

Question

By mistake, milk was placed in my microwave after meat. I do not rely on the leniencies of kashering it through steaming and heating water, but I want to sell the microwave on a second-hand site. Am I allowed to do so?

Answer

Shalom uVracha,

After it has been properly kashered, it is permitted to sell.

If someone asks, you will need to tell them what happened.
