Hafrashas Challah – Combining Doughs
Question
Is it permitted to combine different doughs for hafrashas challah when they’re joined together aa a dough, after they’ve already risen?
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
They can be combined, whether as a dough or even after baking.
The joining can be done either by sticking the doughs together or by placing them in the same container.
However, this only works when the doughs are of the same type and composition. If they are different kinds of dough, one cannot join them to be able to say the Bracha, even if they’re touching each other.
