Separating challah from dough that is intended to be divided among many people
Question
If I make a big batch of dough, about 20 kilos, In order to divide among a group of vacationers who use it to make and bake pitas out in the field — do I need to separate challah with a bracha?
Answer
Shalom uVracha,
If each participant does not receive a portion that reaches the amount required for challah with a blessing, then challah should be separated from the entire dough, but without a blessing.
