Question
Dear Rabbi,
my email: itzhakzeitune@gmail.com
My name is Itzhak Zeitune Oliveira e Silva. I am a converted Jew. Before my name was changed, I was called Paulo Oliveira e Silva. I was born on August 20, 1996.
I am at an important point in my life, marked by doubts about the path I should follow. I am 29 years old and feel the need to make a conscious decision about my future.
For about three years I have been studying for the judge's exam, but I have not yet passed. At the same time, I am also considering the possibility of starting a business, creating a company focused on granting loans, a kind of mini-bank (I have been lending money since college and people seek me out for this).
I have reflected a lot on which of these choices would make the most sense for me and could represent my true purpose or destiny in life. I have already asked Hashem, blessed be He, to grant me enlightenment and clarity to decide, but so far I have not yet received the answer.
Therefore, I humbly ask, if possible, for advice or guidance. Your word would be of great value to me at this time.
Thank you immensely for your attention.
With respect and gratitude, Itzhak Zeitune Oliveira e Silva

Answer
Thank you for your question.
Since you have already studied for three years for the judge's exam, it would be a shame to stop now. The best would be to finish it and qualify. Afterward, you can always decide which business or career you want to pursue.
Of course, this is based on what you wrote. There could be other factors involved, such as whether you have a family to support and whether you think you will be able to qualify.
Feel free to respond if you would like to add any details.
Wishing you all the best.
It is important to note, that when lending money to Jews there are certain Halachot one should be aware of, some can be found on our website.
