Offering

Question

hi, good day. Can you clarify offering and sacrifices to me please. I'm not trying to disprove of Yeshua and what he did for us and I don't think I am evil. So a little background. As a child as a RC, I always wanted to be like Yeshua and I hear a voice saying pray to me. So i tried to pray like the prophets. When I was done I had a dream. In the dream I was on a huge mountain top with a giant stone altar on it by the edge. A old man appeared to me and told me to pray and in the dream he said God often takes offering and I should make offering to him every single day. However I must be clean. Being RC I didn't know much Hebrew ways. So I made up prayers. A sweet odor would always filled the air whenever I made a offering. In the dream a lot of time passed and it was sooo long ago I forgot. I would like to learn my roots if you can help me. What prayers should I say when I make an offering? Should I offer animals everyday. To be honest I always brought fruit. I was such an animal lover I would cry when I had to offer animals for sin which was once. Again in the dream. Should I pray in hebrew? Should I fast for 40 days no food or water? I feel It a calling I should make offering to the Lord. Once again I am not evil. I know this was a practice a long time ago. I believe in Yeshua.. Just my believe is a little confusing. Please don't call me evil. Just pretend with me. So maybe I can dream about making offering again. As i am not sure If i will ever meet the gentleman who taught me. I feel so ashamed I forgot. I feel its something I should do. If that makes sense. I hope you will help me. I ask the Father blessing over your house in any case. Thank you.

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

All the religious beliefs and rituals you describe are unnecessary and illegitimate.

All that God wants from the Non-Jewish world is that they observe 7 precepts, or commandments. They are known as the “Noahide Laws.” They are called “Noahide Laws” because the requirement to observe these seven laws was given Noah, a righteous non-Jew (yes, the fellow from the story with the flood).

The 7 laws are:

1. Don’t murder.

2. Don’t steal.

3. Don’t worship false gods.

4. Don’t be sexually immoral.

5. Don’t eat a limb from an animal that is still alive.

6. Don’t curse God.

7. Establish a system of justice.

Any human being who observes these laws goes to heaven. There is no need to follow any other religion. You can pray to God in your own words and your own language.

Allow me to recommend the following sites to learn more about what G-d expects from Gentiles: https://sukkatshalom-bneinoach.com/ and https://www.netivonline.org/ which specializes in helping non-Jews with religious beliefs. There is a wealth of information there that you will find useful and inspiring. It is also worth looking up the “Noahide” or "B'nai Noach" movement and consider joining them!
