Non-Jewish Girlfriend
Question
My girlfriend is from Thailand. I feel like I am deeply angering god by having this relationship. I have had dreams that scare me and I walk through life feeling uneasy about the future, like I am walking on a tightrope that can snap at any moment. I have had scary dreams and I feel like my soul is leaving me. What should I do?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for writing.
Indeed, interdating and intermarriage is one of the worst things a Jew can do.
The Torah requires that we only seek Jewish marriage partners.
You should break off the relationship with your girlfriend in a quick and gentle manner.
May you find your true soulmate and have a happy married life based on Torah values.
