Online Reform Judaism Conversion Inquiry

Question

 Dear Rabbi,

My name is Ayan. I am interested in converting to Reform Judaism and would like to do this online if possible. I believe in one God, value the Hebrew Bible, and want to follow Jewish ethics and social justice principles.

I would like to know the steps for online conversion and any guidance you can provide, completely free.

 Thank you,
 Ayan

Answer

Thank you for your question.

It seems from your question that you truly wish to do the right thing and come closer to G-d through conversion.

Reform conversion is not accepted according to halacha (Jewish law), so the best approach would be to contact an Orthodox rabbi who can guide you toward a halachically valid conversion.

You may write to us with your location, and we will be able to direct you to an appropriate Orthodox Beit Din for further guidance.

Wishing you much success.
