The Eternal Torah of Sinai
Question
Look back 2000 years into the Roman invasion age, in my understanding of the Old Testament there was only one prophet at a time, in fact they were so few and far between it’s how many hundreds of years most likely? Yet then was Jesus Christ just Roman propaganda to defeat the one prophet of the day in what I know would be John the Baptist ( what his name really was) because the Roman church didn’t add anything except baptism to the list of services even with all Jesus Christ said. Did Caesar make a full scale falsehood of the hero of God so that John the baptists followers would be disregarded??? And one more thing what is the terms of the “New Torah” will they continue Israeli history to the present day? I know one thing for sure after what they just did to save their hostages they proved, how good Israel is to their own which scales history of a better way than all other nations that I know at least. Will there be a “New Torah”?
Answer
Thank you for your question.
The Torah we received at Sinai through Moshe is the eternal Torah for all times and will never be changed. This is one of the 13 fundamental principles of the Jewish faith, "that I believe the Torah is true and unchanging".
Wishing you well.
