Muktza on Chol Hamoed

Question

Hi i was wondering if I don't put on Tefillin during chol hamoed and I was moving houses going from my parents to my in laws, if it's muttar to move my tefillin or if it's muktza?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

Tefillin are not Muktza on Chol Hamoed even for those who don’t wear them,

Indeed, there are no rules of muktza on Chol Hamoed with the exception of Sukkah decorations on Sukkot (which is a very unique type of muktza restriction). Muktza is only relevant on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
