Using the kapporos money

Question

I performed the kapporos ritual on a sum of money. I want to donate this money to a charitable organization in a different city. It’s easier for me to transfer the money using a credit card. What I wanted to know is whether I have to bring them the actual coins that I used for the kapporos. Thank you

Answer

There is no preference for giving the same coins or bills that were used for kapporos. You can transfer the money you gave as kapporos by giving them the same amount in cash or making a credit card payment.
