Miscalculation for Pesach 2029

Question

Pesach is calculated after the spring equinox. The first new moon after the spring equinox determines the beginning of months. The first full moon in that month is Pesach/Feast of Unleavened Bread. Then how in 2029 does Pesach come before the new moon on March 30th, and the equinox is March 20th?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

I looked into your claims and I examined the new moon/full moon cycles for March and April 2029.

Passover will fall out with the full moon, March 30, 2029, as it does every year.

I believe you are mistaken/confused between the full moon and the new moon in March and April 2029.

Passover will be observed as it should in that year.
