The Jewish Calendar

Question

What event was the begining of the jewish calendar? Please dont say (in the begining...)

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

Although I don't fully understand your question, allow me to share the following:

The mitzva of maintaining a Jewish calendar can be found in the book of Exodus 12:2 where it says "This month will be the first month for you, the first month of the year." As such, Nissan is month 1, Iyar month 2, and so on.

This mitzva was given to the Jewish people just before the Exodus from Egypt.
