Cleanliness During Chol HaMoed
Question
Is it permissible during Chol HaMoed to polish windows, mirrors, etc., in honor of important guests, if we cleaned the house before the holiday, but it was repeatedly sullied by the young children?
Answer
Shalom and joyous holidays!
It is permitted to clean and wash the house during Chol HaMoed.
However, these days should not be designated cleaning that you don’t do regularly, such as polishing and the like.
