Working as a Photographer during Chol HaMoed

Question

I work as a video operator to sustain myself and I wanted to ask about an event that takes place during Chol HaMoed. Am I allowed to work and take pictures, and also regarding the work of editing and processing afterwards, which according to the client's need must be done within a day?

Answer

Shalom!
Photography is permitted, as it is a matter of loss [it is impossible to photograph the event at another time].
Editing and processing are prohibited, unless the client uses the videos during Chol HaMoed itself.
If you are in a situation where you need money for the holiday itself, you are allowed to do the work in any case.
