Reciting All the Lamentations or Saying Them with Intention
Question
Is there a point in saying all the lamentations (“kinot”) on Tisha B'Av without exception, even without proper intention and concentration, or is it better to say some with intention, as the Mishnah Berurah says in section one?
Answer
Shalom!
It is obvious that it is preferable to say part of the lamentations with understanding, rather than saying all of them without proper intention.
