Purchasing an Item on Sale during the Nine Days
Question
As is known, in recent years during the Nine Days (the first days of the month of Av), there are many stores that hold sales so that it will be a “matter of loss” to buy these items, and people would be able to shop. Is it permitted to buy there? And is it appropriate?

It is permitted to buy there.
It seems that it is not appropriate to hold sales at this time.
